If you have bed bugs then you might be wondering how to get rid of them. In fact, you may be trying to think about how they even got there. If you can’t trace the source of the bed intrusion, that is not problem, because it can be fixed either way, although some people know exactly where they came from, for example if they had just stayed at a hotel recently.
Bugs in the bed and bedding, can survive by eating the skin that you leave behind. They can actually munch on it all day. And then when you get home and go to bed, these bugs will then feast on your and your skin. The entire concept might have you sleeping somewhere else. Before you discover that they are there, you might be left with itchy red bumps which is a tell tale sign that you have them.
The best way to destroy bed crawlers, is to wash all bedding material in hot water in the washer machine. All pillows, comforters and sheets need to be put into the washer right away. And they should be washed separately and kept away from other laundry and bedding supplies.
Even pillows and stuffed animals that were just sitting on your bed but not used, will require cleaning in hot water. The bugs might have made homes in many nesting material.
The next thing to do, is to vacuum the top of the matrices. Then you can flip it over and vacuum the other side. When a suction device is used, it can trap the bugs and get rid of them for good. The bag from the vacuum is just thrown out into the garbage and removed from the house.
Keeping bed bugs away, can happen if some sanitary steps are followed. All bedding arrangements should be cleaned in hot water at least once a week. And matrices need to be vacuumed once a month on top and bottom sides. You can even put on a bed bag on the surface of your bed, to ensure that the bugs will not return.
